Brandenburg Gate, KaDeWe, Checkpoint Charlie and Fernsehturm - hop-on Hop-off tours with the reddish brown buses offer a comprehensive overview of the highlights of Berlin. You can decide on the validity of your ticket when booking. Travel Berlin for 24 or 48 hours with just one ticket. You can start your sightseeing tour in the afternoon, travel until the close of operations and continue the next day. At the same time, you benefit from two different routes: The red Route shows you the most famous sights in the city centre of Berlin with many easily accessible stops along the way. The blue Route takes you to the east of Berlin. Here you can discover alternative and urban neighbourhoods, trace the course of the Berlin Wall and visit the East Side Gallery
Red line - City Centre Tour - takes you on a varied ride through the centre of Berlin around Alexanderplatz. On the way to the west you will pass countless museums and sights. The ride takes you past the Red City Hall, the Museum Island and the Brandenburg Gate into the government district, then through the green Tiergarten to the City West around the Zoologischer Garten and Kurfürstendamm. Passing Potsdamer Platz, head for Checkpoint Charlie and pass Gendarmenmarkt with its wonderful buildings, before passing the City Palace and returning to City East to Alexanderplatz with its television tower.
Blue line - Urban Tour to the East Side Gallery - also takes you from the Alex to the diverse east of the city with its alternative and dynamic districts. Here you will experience Berlin's famous metropolitan culture and learn interesting facts about the history of the GDR. You will pass the former splendor mile of the East, cross the Warschauer Straße with its lively club landscape and the Mediaspree and thus reach the East Side Gallery. From here, you go via Ostbahnhof and Jannowitzbrücke back to Mitte, past the Rotes Rathaus and the Neptune Fountain.
The change from line red to line blue and vice versa takes place at the stop at Alexanderplatz, opposite the Park Inn Hotel.
Travel time of the tours is approximately two hours (red line) and one hour (blue line), but you can get on and off at any of the stops at any time. Stay as often and as long as you like to discover places of interest or take pictures. The tour buses stop every ten minutes at the bus stops from morning to afternoon.
The reddish brown, low-emission buses are accessible for people with impairments and disabilities. The audio commentary during the journey is available in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Danish, Swedish, Dutch, Turkish, Polish, Japanese.
The e-ticket is sent by email immediately after booking and can also be displayed on a smartphone (a printout is not required). The ticket is valid for a continuous period of 24 or 48 hours on days of your choice within 12 months of booking. You can make any number of stops on the selected day(s).
