The Gallery Weekend Berlin is one of the leading events for contemporary art in Germany and invites visitors to take a tour of Berlin's creative scene.

2025 marks the 21st edition of the Gallery Weekend. This year, 52 galleries are taking part in the event. They will present works by over 80 artists from more than 20 countries at 59 locations. Over the years, Gallery Weekend has developed into a top-selling event on the art market.

Highlights of the Gallery Weekend 2025*

  • With "Sculptures and Drawings", the Buchmann-Galerie is showing characteristic sculptures by the British-German artist Tony Cragg.
  • For the Gallery Weekend, Galerie Barbara Thumm is presenting works by the artist Roméo Mivekannin from Côte d'Ivoire, among others. His paintings challenge his audience in a variety of ways to engage with pressing issues of the past and present.
  • The Galerie BQ is showing the estate of the artist Ferdinand Kriwet. The main gallery serves as a showroom where visitors can view a selection of his artworks.
  • At this year's Gallery Weekend, the Galerie Crone is showing works by US artist Anthony Goicolea. He combines an expressionist style with surreal elements and stands out in particular for his playful humor.
  • New photographs by cult director Wim Wenders can be admired at Galerie Bastian.
  • With his diverse use of film, video, photography, collage, installation and live performance, Cyprien Gaillard invites you to get to know his extraordinary cosmos. He is presenting his new film at Galerie Sprüth Magers for Gallery Weekend 2025.
